Camel Grinding Wheels (CGW), a leading manufacturer and supplier of innovative abrasive solutions for the industrial market, recently announced the acquisition of PASCO, Pacific Abrasive Supply Company, located in Buena Park, California.

“This acquisition strengthens CGW’s position in the marketplace,” said Joe O’Mera, President of Camel Grinding Wheels. “Now CGW converts in the 5 largest abrasive categories—narrow belts, wide belts, flap discs, quick-change discs and PSA and cloth discs, which is unique in the industry.”

PASCO was founded in 1920 as a distributor of abrasives, cutting tools, carbides and other industrial supplies selling to manufacturing plants throughout California. Over the years, PASCO grew to be the largest abrasive belt fabricator in the U.S. Today, the company also manufactures other coated abrasive products, including: sheets, discs, rolls, pressure-sensitive adhesive products and specialty items.

The acquisition will bring the total number of Camel Grinding Wheels employees to approximately 100.
