- Shaft Collars – Shaft collars have extremely diverse applications from positioning devices on medical equipment to more common industrial uses such as holding bearings, sprockets, pulleys, or other shaft components in place. They can be found in virtually every industry. Climax manufacturers one-piece and two-piece clamping collars, set screw collars, threaded clamping collars, re-machinable collars, and end-stop collars, as well as custom-designed solutions.
- Rigid Couplings – Shaft Couplings serve as components to time, join, or align shafts at lower speeds and torque, especially when zero backlash is desired. Rigid couplings are the most basic design but often the most cost-effective coupling solution. Climax manufacturers one-piece and two-piece clamping couplings, set screw couplings, re-machinable couplings, and shaft adapters.
- Keyless Locking Devices – KLDs are mechanical bushings used to connect power transmission components onto rotating shafts. Since KLDs do not require a keyway, they eliminate the problems associated with backlash including fretting, corroding, and wallowing. Keyless locking devices work with straight bores and generous tolerances and reduce component machining and complexity costs. Our KLD product line includes, keyless locking assemblies, keyless rigid couplings, and shrink discs.
