Power Transmission

martin logoMartin Sprocket & Gear, Inc., an established power transmisison manufacturer, has a significant presence in the fractional horsepower (FHP) marketplace for sheaves.

FHP drives are found in an increasingly large number of types of equipment, ranging from simple domestic machines such as farm and garden equipment, all the way to complex high tech applications.

As a Martin distributor, IBT offers fractional horsepower sheaves for light duty applications. FHP sheaves are offered in single or double groove designs. Users may choose from bore-to-size or MST® (Martin Split Taper®) bushed styles.

Martin FHP sheaves are available in AK and BK sizes, in both single and double groove designs. They are sold as either bore-to-size or MST bushed. FHP sheaves are available in stock diameters that run from 1 ½ inch to 18 ¾ inch, with stock finished bores from ½ inch to 1 ½ inch. MST “H” bushings to suit bushed style FHP are stocked in both inch and millimeter finished bores. Martin FHP sheaves are statically balanced and have precision machined grooves to ensure quality. If the bore size you are looking for is not on the shelf, you can get custom altered components as soon as the next day: Martin responds to made-to-order (MTO) applications quickly.

Martin also has special order capabilities. If what you need cannot be found in any catalog, Martin offers you special service.

Whether it’s stock or MTO, IBT and Martin Sprocket can offer you a high quality FHP sheave on a cost effective basis. For more information, ask your IBT sales rep or write to IBT.
