KANSAS CITY, Missouri—May 15, 2017—The Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) recently held their annual industry show, the GEAPS Exchange, in Kansas City, Missouri. Hosted at the Kansas City Convention Center, a 270,000 sq. ft. event space in Bartle Hall, the event broke a GEAPS Exchange all-time record for participation—with 3,589 attendees and 438 exhibitors.
The GEAPS Exchange gives companies the opportunity to preview new equipment, solutions, and suppliers once a year. Companies come from all across the U.S. for food, fun, networking, and 40 hours of training programs offered by the organization.
“GEAPS offers its members great resources and training, as well as exposure to new grain processing technology,” said Rick Gerling, Regional Manager at IBT.
IBT Industrial Solutions displayed a comprehensive suite of industrial products, services, and solutions designed specifically for the grain industry. “We continue to refine and expand our offerings specific for the grain industry,” said Tim West, the Industrial Rubber Products Group Director for IBT.
Gerling agreed, and added that IBT is bringing new ideas and solutions to a very established business that’s been around for centuries. “As a company and a solutions provider, we enjoy talking to grain folks about what we can do to grow and improve their business,” he said.
