Electrical Training 101: Basic Electrical Academy


IBT’s popular two-and-a-half day electrical training school covering electricity and electrical devices in industry is led by IBT’s Electrical Group Product Specialists.

This course is designed to increase the knowledge base and comfort level of facility maintenance technicians, purchasing personnel and machine operators responsible for electrical equipment maintenance.

For the course, instructors will draw upon a background that averages more than twenty years of specialization in the application and distribution of electrical equipment and supplies to industry. Class content will supply the basic building blocks of information that everyone who works with electricity should know.

Tuition for the Electrical Training class is $ 595 per student. All training materials and lunches are included. Each attendee will receive a free Amprobe ACD-16 TRMS Pro 1000A Datalogging Clampon Multimeter. The Amprobe meter has a retail value of $ 175.

Classes typically run from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Days 1 and 2 and from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Day 3. Classwork includes lecture, discussion, wiring labs and knowledge review tests. This class qualifies for 2.0 CEU credits. Register Now
