New From IBT: Hydraulic Training Classes
IBT now offers a three-day class on Hydraulic Power Systems and Controls. This hands-on training program is designed to meet the needs of those who are new to fluid power as well as those who are already experienced. The course will improve the knowledge of anyone who works with hydraulics, including plant management, maintenance staff, assembly and test technicians or design engineers.
Course materials include hydraulic principles, symbols and schematics, hydraulic components, oil characteristics, fluid filtration, building hydraulic circuits and troubleshooting.
The hydraulic components which are covered extensively include: cylinders, motors, pumps, accumulators, speed controls and valves (direct, pilot operated, sequence, check, pressure reducing, needle and relief).
Class materials also include fluid power textbooks, lab manuals and a fluid power data book.
IBT's hydraulic training classes are mobile and can be conducted at any location throughout the US for classes of as few as eight students. The trainer brings elaborate test benches for the students to work with. The training is very hands-on, as two students share each bench and get extensively involved in the theory and practice of hydraulics.
For more information on how to make arrangements for this training, contact Gary Hense.
