The ABCs of AC/DC
IBT will debut a new two-and-a-half day training school that covers electricity and electrical devices in industry on Monday, December 11 through Wednesday, December 13, at the Central Distribution Center in Merriam, Kansas.
Led by IBT's Electrical Group Product Specialists, the course is designed to increase the knowledge base and comfort level of facility maintenance technicians, purchasing people and machine operators responsible for electrical equipment maintenance.
For the course, instructors will draw upon a background that averages more than twenty years of specialization in the application and distribution of electrical equipment and supplies to industry. Class content will supply the basic building blocks of information that everyone who works with electricity should know.
Tuition for the Electrical Training class is $ 495 per student. All training materials and lunches are included. Each attendee will receive a free Amprobe ACD-16 TRMS Pro 1000A Datalogging Clamp-on Multimeter. The Amprobe meter has a retail value of $ 175.
Classes will run from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday and from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Classwork will include lecture/ discussion, wiring labs and knowledge review tests.
IBT can arrange for reasonably priced overnight accommodations for students in the area.
