School Days at IBT
Enroll in the October Customer Academy
Some people think that a little learning is a dangerous thing. A lot of learning, on the other hand, is a powerful tool.
As part of their continuing commitment to training, IBT will offer a session of the 2006 Customer Academy in October.
Scheduled from Monday, October 23 through Wednesday, October 25, the school will be held at IBT's Central Distribution Center in Merriam, Kansas. During the two and a half day session, the material will be presented in discussions, demonstrations, hands-on sessions and videos.
The training program is ideal for key maintenance, plant engineering, purchasing and storeroom personnel from all types of industries.
The information covered will include:
Bearings
- Identification of bearings, types per application, installation, dismounting, preventive and predictive maintenance and tools.
Lubrication
- Selecting the right type of lubricant. Determining proper amounts and frequency of relubrication and lubricant change.
Gearing
- Basic understanding of different types of gearing, advantage per applications, maintenance and repair.
Drives
- V-belt, roller chain, couplings, different types per application, installation and maintenance.
