Polyurethane Power Transmission Belts from Goodyear

Goodyear has announced the adding of a full-line of synchronous polyurethane belting. These belts are suitable for covering a wide range of applications including linear motion, product conveyance and power transmission.

Product styles include open-end, welded and truly endless flex belting. Polyurethane offers superior abrasion resistance and belts are reinforced with either steel or aramid cords.

Other advantages of polyurethane when compared to rubber include: resistance to cuts and tears; ozone resistance; resistance to mold, fungi and other microorganisms; non-marking; and color variety availability.

Goodyear synchronous polyurethane belting is manufactured by ELATECH®, a company fully dedicated to the research, development and manufacture of polyurethane belts for industrial application.
