Do You Need Nitta?
With all the noise, hype and excitement about the new media and the internet, it's easy to lose sight of the fact that paper is bigger than ever. Magazines, newspapers, advertisements, direct mail – even product packages – it is everywhere you look and hard to avoid whenever you turn around.
IBT represents Nitta. Their PolySprint range of printing industry tapes are ideally suited for the graphic arts and paper converting industries. The simple QuickFlex splicing system requires no adhesives for joining, is very fast and requires minimal training. Nitta’s PolySprint belts are made with a variety of covers and carcasses so that you can select a belt that is perfect for your application. Some belts are elastic with thermoplastic carcasses; some are non-elastic with carcasses reinforced with polyamide or polyester fabrics.
Nitta’s philosophy is to help you improve your manufacturing efficiencies, decrease your downtime and lower your costs in general. They do this by combining the best in materials with state-of-the-art manufacturing. IBT adds experienced people to help you choose the perfect belt for your application.
For high-speed printing, stackers, sheeters, folders, sorters; the PolySprint finger spliceable (no adhesives needed) series is the belt of choice.
Nitta belts don’t stretch, they dissipate static electricity, they don’t mark the paper and they are easier to install on your machine.
Nitta has redesigned their heating and cooling press to better fit their customer’s applications. The press consists of a low profile to fit in those hard to reach places. It has an adjustable external temperature control that provides an accurate read out of both the top and bottom heating plates. The cooling press has heat releasing fins on both the top and bottom to help dissipate the heat faster. Both these presses and the finger cutter are available as a tool kit in an easy to carry box.
Nitta Corporation has developed the Polysprint product line for the printing, paper conversion and book binding industries. Advantages of the Polysprint line are flexibility, abrasion resistant, stable co-efficient of friction, non-marking surface, anti-static, dimensional stability, higher heat resistant nylon, good tracking, flange resistant, and easy to splice.
To find out more about Nitta for printing or related industries – or to get help on their full range of lightweight belting applications, just contact your IBT sales person or Bob Colpitts, the product manager for lightweight belting.
