ISG Now Means Training, Too
IBT's "industry leading training" for MRO and maintenance professionals is now bundled into the comprehensive group of integrated services being offered through ISG – Integrated Services Group.
Training has always been an important component of IBT's success. The company has stressed training for its internal people – and has gained national renown because of the effectiveness of the programs. Customer training programs have also long been an important aspect of the IBT culture as well.
Now, through ISG, IBT offers custom training programs for manufacturing maintenance on a fee for services basis.
They offer to design a complete program that will train their customers' personnel to achieve technical competence and job specific knowledge in maintenance. ISG believes that properly trained workers at your plant will improve the reliability of your equipment and maximize productivity in your manufacturing systems.
Training programs can also be designed to include maintenance, purchasing and engineering personnel.
According to Trevor Finger, Vice President, Integrated Services Group (ISG), "We draw on our extensive knowledge and experience in both training and operations to create the programs that are precisely engineered for our client's organizations and people.
"Our training professionals begin by identifying the skill levels and starting points. Then they employ the right combination of training techniques: classroom, on-the-job, on-line, video or computer assisted, self-study, demonstration and hands–on practical experience.

IBT can design and administer training programs that are designed for specific individuals, job classifications, skill levels or job sites.
IBT has trained their people and customers since 1949. They are proud of their work in creating "industry standard" training for PTDA, offered in a video and handbook series.
