Open Door Policy

There is more to a door than you might ever imagine. It has a simple job: keep things out or let things in. But beyond that, in an industrial environment, there are many more considerations, factors and functionalities that dictate exactly what kind of door one might need to install to cover a given situation - and cover a given opening.

Nergeco is a world-wide door company which is represented by IBT's Warehouse Equipment Group. Both the company and IBT see their doors as part of a productivity system, and offer a range of styles, sizes and specifications.

Nergeco's low life-cycle ownership costs means enhanced total value over the life of the door. With Nergeco, each type of door is specifically designed for the activity, the size, the use and the environment of the location it will operate in. The door will give the maximum efficiency with the minimum of maintenance.

Nergeco multiple benefits include: reliability; washabiliy; cleanliness; safety; insulation.

Nergeco Productivity Doors use innovative curtain technology. Interior stiffeners push the flexible curtain firmly into the side guides from the top to bottom. The door is more airtight, has more uniform wind resistance and it can roll up in confined interior areas. The door also folds up to accommodate and better insulate large exterior openings, even if exposed to high winds and/or extreme temperature differences. In each case, the bottom edge remains light, flexible and soft, which increases safety for personnel, loads and for the curtain itself.

Some of the features that make Nergeco doors advantageous for given applications include:
  • They improve insulation and traffic flow.
  • They protect the thermal mattress by opening vertically, without creating air turbulence.
  • The doors facilitate easy passage through the opening by clearing the full width, from the bottom up.
  • They open five times faster than conventional overhead doors allowing unimpeded traffic flow.
  • Patented window vision protection increases vision panel life
  • Fully pre-wired plug-in connection to NEMA 4x control panel, reduces electrical installation time.
  • Only five moving parts mean less installation time, lower maintenance costs
  • Protective roll cover standard on all doors
  • Insulated curtains require no additional heat sources on freezer doors, reduces energy and operating costs.
