Come To Tech X 500
There is no doubt that IBT is excited about the upcoming Tech X 500 Customer Appreciation event on September 13 - 14, 2006. The company is going all out in the planning and looks forward to an event that surpasses its own high standards for quality, value and fun.
But, just how good is it going to be? We asked one of the planners, Gary Hense, Director of Marketing Services.
"We like to think that the event will be as exciting and important for our customers as it is to our vendors and to us. The other day, we got to talking about all the reasons why the people we invite should plan to attend.
"We joked that there had to be '500 reasons' to come to Tech X 500. As we talked about it some, it became less of a joke. While we might not have a list of all 500, yet, there are some really important reasons to make sure to come out to Kansas Speedway for all or part of the two days we will be there."
Some of the preliminary attractions:
- Door prizes in the hundreds
- At least 400 NASCAR ride-alongs with The Racing Experience
- Exhibits by nearly 50 vendors
- Showcases of new technology
- Live entertainment
- More than twenty one-hour continuing education training seminars
- Free ice cream
- Great meal-time hospitality on both days
- Hands on demonstrations of equipment
- Pit Crew Challenge contests
- Real NASCAR vehicles
- Exciting race car simulators
- Free samples of Sqwincher electrolyte drink from the Sqwincher trailer
- Networking opportunities galore
- A chance to renew old friendships
- Great weather outdoors at Kansas Speedway
Stay tuned for future updates. But, mark your calendar now: September 13 and 14, 2006. For more information, look at the official event web site.
