There's training and then there's training. The best kind is the type of training designed to really instruct people, engage their interests, provide knowledge and change behavior. In the case of safety training, there is a certain amount of it that you have to do. But, IBT Safety believes that just doing the training to meet the requirements isn't good enough – or even nearly acceptable.

That's why, when IBT Safety consultants do the training, it makes an impact.

They use presentation tools and techniques that are based on adult learning requirements. Class work may include interactive illustrations/discussions. Frequently, professional PowerPoint Presentations help make the difference – with practical demonstrations used to hammer home the important facts in a memorable and effective fashion.

The IBT Safety Training approach uses tools and controls as needed, such as attendance records, tests and quizzes, certifications and cards. The idea is whatever you need and whatever it takes: they're ready to perform and deliver.

The IBT consulting staff can provide training on virtually every safety and health topic, including both general industry and construction.

Classes of all sizes can be held either on-site at the customer location or at the IBT Corporate Training facility. All training sessions are designed to be enjoyable. Both employee and management classes are available.

Some of the more common topics covered include, hazard communication, personal protective equipment, respiratory protection, confined space entry, ergonomics, bloodborne pathogens and noise and hearing conservation. IBT has also presented specific safety-related management awareness courses such as "How to Conduct Effective Safety Meetings." IBT Safety will conduct trainings on individual subjects of varying length – depending on your organization's needs.
