New, Improved Free Angle Fittings From Tuthill
Tuthill’s original innovative free angle fittings have been improved and refined. The new design will rotate through 360º at an angle of up to 75º. The use of these accessories provides flexibility of the tool’s position when used by a worker. This can help to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome and other stress-related and repetitive motion injuries in the workplace. Workers may experience fewer injuries that result in lost time.
Another benefit is reduced air supply hose kinking.
The fittings are offered in a full range of sizes and styles (see below). Each size and style is rated at 115 psig (8 Bar).
Recommended applications include: assembly air lines in automotive, electronic and other industries; mechanical joints for robotics; vibration isolation; and commercial and residential construction.
Tuthill’s Free Angle Fittings are built to last. Standard design elements include: integrated steel/polyurethane construction, steel ball joints for easy rotation, Buna-N (Nitrile) seals, and standard thread sealant on male NPTs.
