LUBE

How Hot Is It?
Over 600º F

High temperature applications kill most lubricants. They degrade and form carbon deposits; give off excessive smoke and fumes; evaporate or just plain old burn up. High temp applications demand the most a lube can give, and most conventional lubricants just can't make the grade.

JAX Pyro-Kote Series Oils are a different matter altogether. They are synthetic, ester based, high-temperature lubricating oils (available in three viscosity grades: ISO 32, 68, 220) that have exceptional antiwear performance and reduce friction. They also offer long life and extended drain intervals.

Pyro-Kote lubes are designed to lubricate oven chains, slides and gears in industrial applications where air temperatures frequently exceed 500° F. The high smoke, flash and fire points of this remarkable lubricant helps alleviate concerns of fire hazards associated with other fluids.

JAX Pyro-Kote Series is formulated to provide excellent anti-wear performance and high-temperature oxidation stability with a non-sludging, ashless additive system. It is ideal for OSB, plywood, gypsum and fiberglass ovens and other extremely high temp oven chain applications.

Pyro-Kote Series (ISO 32, 68, 220) are 100% Synthetic. JAX identifies the Pyro-Kote Series as the finest, high-temperature synthetic oven chain lubricant for applications up to and exceeding 650°F. Advantages include: extreme chain cleanliness, low volatility and excellent anti-wear protection. Dispersency characteristics can clean residues from inferior high-temperature lubes.

JAX Pyro-Kote Series Oils are compatible with most seals, paints, petroleum oils, and metals including bronze type components.

Industrial applications that can benefit from Pyro-Kote 220 include: roller chains on all oven conveyors, lithographic chains, food & beverage can coating lines, tenter frames in textile plants, kiln car wheel bearings, refractory plants, paint lines and drying ovens, particle and gypsum board manufacturing, fiberglass lines, kiln support rollers, cement plants, and commercial bakery oven chains.

Unlike other high-temperature fluids available, Pyro-Kote 220 distinguishes itself with the absence of viscosity-building polymers. Additionally, a proprietary additive system results in excellent high-temperature thermal and oxidative stability for prolonged lubricant life without the depositing, coking and sludging experienced by polymerized high temperature lubricants. These unique features provide prolonged equipment life, and reduced energy costs.

Pyro-Kote 220 utilizes exclusive, proprietary synthetic ester technology. This technology helps maintain a liquid lubricating film at elevated temperatures - providing substantially longer lubrication intervals, reduced lubricant consumption, less smoke, excellent deposit control and no objectionable odors.
