IBT Achieves Koch Filter Corporation’s President’s Award
MERRIAM, Kansas – Nobember 1, 2011 – IBT was recently recognized by Koch Filter Corporation for their performance in developing air filter business over the past year.
A senior committee within Koch Filter bases the President’s Award on volume, growth, and mutual compatibility. Dick Ballard, District Manager for Koch Filter, said “The senior committee awards only a select few with the President's Award, and IBT certainly qualifies with flying colors.”
Ballard has worked in the field with various IBT branches. He has personally experienced branches providing Koch air filtration products that hit home runs with customers, which he says is reflected in the increased growth.
“IBT took on this new product line and much of the success has been because of the excellent training, customer support, joint marketing efforts, and quality products that Koch has to offer,” says General Industrial Product Group Business Director Mike Muenks. “This line has quickly become a focal point of the growing General Industrial Product Group within IBT.”
On Friday, October 14, Ballard presented the award to IBT President Mark Byrne and Mike Muenks at IBT’s headquarters in Merriam, Kansas.
