IBT to Begin Offering SpanTech Products
MERRIAM, Kansas – Jan. 13, 2010 – IBT, Inc. is pleased to announce a new manufacturer partnership with SpanTech LLC.
Headquartered in Glasgow, Kentucky, SpanTech manufactures the Designer System® family of continuous plastic chain curving conveyors, which represents a truly modular conveyor system, capable of horizontal and vertical bends within one chain design. SpanTech’s conveyors systems are widely implemented in food production, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing applications.
What makes the Designer System unique is it is the only sanitary plastic conveyance system that is a single, integrated design by one manufacturer. SpanTech also produces multiple types of transfers, both gravity (non-powered) and powered, for handling products at the start and end points of the conveyor.
In addition to the flagship Designer System conveyor line, SpanTech has a variety of additional material handling solutions for diverse applications.
- The High-Speed Switch is a lane divider/converger designed to split a flow of products into two, three, or four output lanes at exceptionally high speeds.
- The Topper Lift will elevate or lower almost any product configuration in a small footprint at a much lower cost than competitive elevators.
- The J-Trax conveyor is ideal for cooling, breading, enrobing, draining, and other difficult applications.
- The Spiral Elevator or Spiral handles any dwell time, cooling, freezing, heating, or inclining/declining application you can think of.
- The MC300HD MicroSpan Conveyor line offers a very low profile (1.5 inches), a fully captured chain/belt and reversible, variable speed drive as standard features.
All these options and that’s still not all that SpanTech’s versatile line of material handling products has to offer. There is no limit to what can be done with their Designer System line!
