IBT Inc. News Releases
IBT Charitable Giving During Holidays
MERRIAM, Kansas – Jan. 04, 2010 – As is tradition at IBT during the holiday season, the company and its employees participated in charitable giving for local community and national organizations.
IBT’s corporate headquarters contributed to two groups supporting the needs of people in metro Kansas City and one international organization.
Turner House Children’s Clinic
IBT served as a collection site for new or used children’s clothing, books, and toys for the Turner House Children’s Clinic. A holiday sale of excess IBT apparel to employees resulted in raised funds that were donated to Turner House. This year’s contributions to Turner House from IBT and company matched employee donations totaled $1,300.
Project Warmth
IBT served as a collection site for new or used coats and blankets for Project Warmth.
The contributions to Project Warmth from IBT and company matched employee donations totaled nearly $1,100.
Smile Train
IBT made a corporate donation to be used for cleft lip surgeries for children.
IBT branches also participated in charitable giving as they do each holiday season. Individual branch locations across the Midwest supported their local areas, respectively. Employees at IBT branches supported various causes, ranging from providing costly medical equipment for special needs children to donating to local chapters of national not-for-profit organizations like the Arthritis Foundation.
