IBT Adds Continuous Improvement Manager
MERRIAM, Kansas – Feb. 2, 2009 – Das Madhavan, a highly experienced process improvement executive, has joined IBT, Inc. as Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager.
In this newly created position, Madhavan will lead and facilitate a process to make the company more efficient and competitive in the marketplace. The effort itself will focus on ways and means to reduce internal operational inefficiencies as well as improve and accelerate the organization's performance, without compromising the quality or integrity of the end-results.

In discussing his initial plans, Madhavan told IBT staffers that they are the key factor in the new program: "Nobody knows the process better than you, the people who actually do the work. CI will harness your input through empowered teams and introduce re-design processes that will make it more efficient and easier for you to work effectively than ever before."
Prior to joining IBT, Madhavan worked for United Air Lines, Truman Medical Center, Citibank and Household Credit Services. He has worldwide experience in the energy industry as well.
Born in Malaysia, Madhavan earned a mechanical engineering degree in the UK and advanced degrees (Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Master in Business Administration - MBA) at Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR.
