Hydraulic Training
IBT's new hydraulic training sessions, IBT Hydraulic 101 Academy: Basic Hands-On Hydraulic Training & Troubleshooting and IBT Hydraulic 102 Academy: Advanced Troubleshooting of Hydraulic Components & Systems, will be offered at several locations throughout the territory during the balance of 2009.

IBT Hydraulic 101 Academy sessions are three days long, and include lunch and learning materials. While some background and experience with fluid power is helpful, it is not required for attending this course. The course is designed for anyone who works with hydraulics as part of their job or anyone who wishes to increase their overall knowledge of hydraulics. This training program is recommended for plant managers, maintenance professionals, design engineers, draftsmen and hydraulic assemblers. More Hydraulic 101 information or register online for Hydraulic 101.

Upcoming IBT Hydraulic 101 Academy Sessions

  • May 5-7 at CDC in Merriam, Kansas
  • May 19-21 in Amarillo, Texas
  • June 23-25 in St. Louis, Missouri
  • July 7-9 in Tulsa, Oklahoma
  • July 14-16 in Little Rock, Arkansas

IBT Hydraulic 102 Academy sessions are four days long. The training emphasizes pressure/leak testing. Because the majority of all hydraulic components that are replaced are still good components, this training will allow you to reduce your down time, troubleshoot your hydraulic problems the first time – safely, quickly and very effectively.

IBT recommends that students attend IBT Hydraulic 101 Academy Basic Hands-On Hydraulic Training & Troubleshooting before attending the 4-day IBT Hydraulic 102 Academy Advanced Troubleshooting Components & Systems session. More Hydraulic 102 information or register online for Hydraulic 102.
