IBT's popular electrical training sessions, IBT Electrical 101 Basic Electrical Academy and IBT Electrical 102 Advanced Electrical Academy, will be offered at several locations throughout the territory during the balance of 2009.

Sessions are two and one half days long, start Monday morning and end at noon on Wednesday, and include lunch, learning materials and Electrical 101 Academy attendees will receive an Amprobe Datalogging Clampon Multimeter, valued at $ 175.

IBT Electrical 101 Basic Electrical Academy is designed to increase the knowledge base and comfort level of facility maintenance technicians, purchasing personnel and machine operators responsible for electrical equipment maintenance. More Electrical 101 info or register online for Electrical 101.

• September 14-16 at CDC in Merriam, Kansas

• November 16-18 in Amarillo, Texas

Advanced Electrical 102 Academy examines motors from front to back and drives inside and out. It also covers related safety devices, like light curtains and lasers.

IBT Electrical 102 Academy is recommended for field and factory maintenance technicians and those involved with specifying, purchasing, operating or troubleshooting motor and drive systems.
