Full Day of Bearing Training Coming in April

In connection with The Timken Company, "The Worldwide Leader in Bearings and Steel," IBT will conduct a full-day Bearing School for maintenance specialists. Class will be led by bearing experts from IBT and Timken. Instruction will be industry-wide and not devoted to a specific brand.
The session is scheduled for Friday, April 23, 2004 in Kansas City (exact location to be announced).
The training offers a comprehensive understanding of the following topics:

Bearing types

Where and how they are used
-
Bearing terminology
-
Maintenance
-
Lubrication
-
Damage prevention
At the end of the day, attendees will have learned how to save money by eliminating time-consuming maintenance practices and by increasing bearing life.
The training session will offer sections on:

Bearing basics

Ball bearings

Needle bearings
-
Spherical roller bearings
-
Bearing maintenance
Class will meet from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Lunch will be provided.
