How the Stockyard Program Works

After your order is placed with your IBT, we go right to work, sending your order to the Stockyard. If the order is placed before 2 p.m. CST, it will ship the next working day. The order is entered using H.E.R.O.E.S. − Hytrol Electronic Remote Order Entry System. With H.E.R.O.E.S., the order is then sent electronically to the Stockyard. Sometimes orders are faxed.

The first thing the Stockyard does is categorize the order. They check to see if the order is a 24-Hour item (some are one-week). The pricing is checked, the order is routed to a trucking line, and then entered into Hytrol's mainframe computer system. Hytrol Material Coordinators look at each order and specify all the parts needed to complete the unit or units.

The parts are pulled, the unit is built and tested, and soon, your order is placed on the truck. And, if your item is indeed a 24-Hour stock conveyor, your order is on its way, many times in LESS than 24 hours. That’s the way we do it - for YOU!

Gravity Skatewheel conveyors are ideally used to convey lightweight packages or when operation requires lightweight sections. Skatewheel is useful in setting up temporary conveyor lines in warehousing activities, shipping departments, assembly areas, etc.
