The news media have clearly painted a discouraging picture of economic conditions. Sub-prime mortgage problems, the credit crunch, balance of payments, oil and food prices – it's enough to make you nervous and apprehensive. But from where we sit in IBT's Integrated Services Group (ISG), it also points out the urgency of our mission and message.

When times are good, it makes sense to work smarter and more efficiently, especially where MRO and supply chain are involved. In times of economic trial, it would seem to make even better sense.
